Welcome

We Are So Glad You Are Here
The BYU Jerusalem Center is a magnificent building, truly a jewel within the city of Jerusalem. How fortunate we are to have lived and served in this remarkable place! As beautiful as the structure is, the people within are the heart of the Jerusalem Center. Those who dwell inside create a mighty spirit that is hard to miss. Among them are teachers, administrators, service couples, cooks, security guards, and especially the students. You have made the Jerusalem Center a special place because you learned there. You served there. You bore testimony there.
We welcome you to the Jerusalem Center Alumni where we hope to remind each other of the memories and feelings we had in that remarkable place, the Holy Land. We welcome all who have lived, worked or served in the Jerusalem Center in any capacity. We also welcome those who studied abroad in Jerusalem through BYU, predating the Center. Together we can learn and contribute to the future of the Center and the students who are yet to have the unique experience that you were fortunate to enjoy.

Jeffrey R. Holland

“I don’t know what it will mean a generation after we’re gone or what future purposes the Lord will have for it, but I hope students from all over the world can be blessed by it. My testimony to you is that the Lord wanted that center built and has it there for great purposes that we now see only dimly.”
