We rise by lifting others
Give Back
How will your donation be used?
Donations made to support students are directed to a BYU fund administered by the Jerusalem Center Provo Office and deposited into the BYU Jerusalem Center Alumni Student Support Endowment through Philanthropies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Earnings from this endowment are used to provide grants to Jerusalem Center students.
As inflation continues to increase the cost of participating in the BYU Jerusalem Center study abroad program, our goal is to help reduce the financial burden on students by providing grants. We hope that recipients, once they are in a position to do so, will choose to give back and help future students benefit from the same opportunity.
The BYU Jerusalem Center Alumni Board seeks to remove financial barriers that might otherwise prevent deserving students from participating, ensuring that access to this life-changing experience is based on interest and eligibility rather than economic advantage.
We work closely with the BYU Jerusalem Center to ensure that student financial assistance is administered responsibly. Grants and scholarships are structured so that the net cost of attending the Jerusalem Center does not fall below the cost of attending a semester on BYU’s Provo campus.
