April attended the Jerusalem Center is Fall 1993 and she met her husband, Jay, there. April attended Brigham Young University from Fall 1991 – Spring 1996. She has a bachelors degree in Advertising Communications with minors in both Spanish and English. April worked in New York and Washington DC advertising before returning to Brigham Young University’s Marriott School. She graduated in the MBA class of 2001 with an emphasis in marketing. She worked for Intel Corporation following graduation, until she and Jay started their family. April is a fabric designer and online retailer of her own designs on fabric. As the mother of four children, it has been a priority to instill in them a love for the Holy Land and the Middle East. April is dedicated to the cause of reminding other Alumni about what they learned and gained from their semester in the Holy Land as well as documenting the experience for the sake of history.
