Hal L. Taylor

Hal Loren Taylor, 94, passed away January 2, 2013, at his home in Springville, Utah. He was born April 27, 1918, in Red Mesa, Colorado. He married Anna Fredrickson June 10, 1939, in Heber City, Utah; they were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple December 1, 1939. After Anna passed away in 1996, Hal married Catherine “Cathy” Luce June 21, 1997, in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. He had a distinguished career with the LDS Church Education System as an administrator and teacher and as a member of the BYU religion faculty. He served six full-time missions for the LDS Church including President of the Southwest Indian Mission (1965-1968), and President of the Missionary Training Center in New Zealand (1988-1989).
