Jared attended the Jerusalem Center in Winter 2011 and was present during the Arab Spring Uprising and Black January in Egypt. Jared attended BYU from 2005-2012 and graduated with a B.A. in Linguistics. Jared went on to work for the Houston Astros, government organizations, and is currently a Data Scientist for J&J Worldwide Services. He is married to Lindsey August and has two children, Enoch and Felicity. Jared lives in Austin, Texas and loves raising his family in the Texas Hill Country. The experience of going to the BYU Jerusalem Center was an incredible faith building and testimony strengthening adventure that was so impactful, Jared is eager to assist in the mission of the BYU Jerusalem Alumni Association and help other students in the future embrace those same spiritually magnifying opportunities.
