Kevin Walker

Kevin Lee Walker graduated with a degree in accounting from BYU in 1986.  He worked for 2 different Utah county businesses as controller before coming to BYU 31 year ago.  Kevin has been the Jerusalem Center Controller for the past 10 years as well as the Director of Regulatory Accounting and Reporting in Financial Services at BYU.  His primary responsibility is to support Jerusalem Center management, teaching and staff personnel by overseeing and recording all financial transactions for the center.  His responsibilities include traveling to the center each year to help prepare the center’s annual operating budgets.  Those annual trips have become memorable highlights of his life.  During these visits, center personnel have been most kind in allowing him to accompany the students on various field trips, including their first trip to Greece, which was a homecoming of sort because Kevin graduated from high school in Athens.  Kevin met his wife, Aina while serving a mission in Sweden.  They have been blessed with 6 children and 12 grandchildren.  Besides spending as much time as possible with family, Kevin is a big BYU fan, and has been a season football and basketball ticket holder for 41 years.
