Wayne Walter Clark, age 89, passed away peacefully at home on November 21, 2014. He was born January 18, 1925, in Provo, Utah, to Walter Edward and Violet Catherine Christensen Clark. He grew up in Georgetown, Bear Lake County, Idaho; served in the Army in World War II; then served a mission in Denmark for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Wayne graduated from Brigham Young University and received a Ph.D. from Texas A&M.

On September 19, 1951, he married Colleen Clark in the Salt Lake Temple for time and eternity; he was married for 62 years to the love of his life. He was a professor of Economics at BYU for over 30 years and loved teaching and working with the students. He was also a Department Chair, Director of Cooperative Education, and Associate Director of the BYU Jerusalem Center. He served in many callings in the church and had a life-long commitment to the gospel.
