Winter 2014 students traveled to Turkey and Jordan for their excursions. Nate Monson was President and met his wife, Nicolette Nord in this group. They were married the following year. Phil Soap Varner and Paris Sorbonne also met during this semester and later married. The students included nearly equal numbers of boys and girls for perhaps the first and only time in Jerusalem Center history.
