Jesus, clothed in the red robes of His second coming, looks out over the city where he taught more than two millennia ago. The miracles of that time are echoed in the miracles offered every day to those who follow in his footsteps, either through the uncertain streets of Jerusalem, or through a life of trial or pain. In the distant streets, both past and present, a contention fills the air, but from the mountain top, where Christ stands, there is hope and peace. From the Mountain top, you see clearly across the valley, across the tense boundaries between city quarters, across the shape of the past, toward the future Jesus promised the chaotic streets of Jerusalem both then and now; a future of beautiful, warm, freeing, daily miracles.
