In addition to Rodney Turner and his wife, this group also had Keith Meservy and his wife with them.
The Spring/ Summer 1988 group were joined at the center by a 1988 summer semester group at the end of Spring Term as well as by a group of nursing interns, and a group of graduate students.
During this semester, Elder Howard W. Hunter and Elder James E. Faust came with President Jeffrey R. Holland (then president of BYU) to sign the lease for the center. Later, Elder Gordon B. Hinckley and his wife came to tour the center, and near the end of our stay, Elder Russel M Nelson stopped in while he was in the area. Having that many apostles come through during one semester may have been a first.
