2000 Fall

This semester was in the Holy Land when the Second Intifada broke out. The students were transferred to Galilee for a month of their semester and were then sent home early. The Center remained closed until 2007, which was the longest closure since the Jerusalem Center opened.

Dennis Thomson was the Associate director of the Jerusalem Center. He was a political science professor from BYU
Wayne Mineer was the doctor
The following two couples were both service couples and did hosting and music:LaVonne Van Orden was the sister of Joan Stevens and Joan Stevens was the organist and LaVonne Van Orden directed the choir–both couples did hosting. Jim Stevens was the branch president.
