During the Winter& Spring 1979 Semester on the Jerusalem Study abroad, the Peace Treaty between Israel and Egypt happened on March 26, 1979. Sadat, Begin and Jimmy Carter signed.
The Branch President was Daniel Rona. Students also had John Tvedtness and Jack Sloane (he and his family lived in Jerusalem for a time and he taught Geography) with them. They were led by David Galbraith with two sets of teachers, Jim and Betty Harris & Max and Evelyn Craner.
This group traveled for 3 weeks across Europe and then flew home from England, hence, January to June 1979.
