In the Winter and Spring of 1982, this group of 89 students spent their semester in the Holy Land with Victor Ludlow & Karl Farnsworth as their directors and teachers. Karl Farnsworth and his wife, Jackie, had two daughters in the program at the time. Victor and his wife, Virginia Ann, brought along six children. David Galbraith was the Resident Director and D. Kelly Ogden served as the Administrative Assistant to the Director.
The group lived at Ramat Rachel in fairly rustic conditions. They spent time at Sinai where they sat at the feet of Elder Howard W. Hunter. They spent time working in the banana fields on a kibbutz in Galilee and camped at the Dead Sea and the Red Sea. They also go to spend three days in London on a layover.
